Summit Thursday

This year's schedule allows all of the students to be in the cabin more in place of track times. In the past our kids were scattered throughout the camp in various optional activities. This year we have provided those type of activities just for our kids. The kids have been doing a lot bracelet making and today they made flower pens. Even boys made pens, they were claiming for their moms! We have played Jungle pong, three ball flag football and kickball with some of the guys. This time together has been a great new chanc in the schedule.

On Tuesday night as part of the theme, they had a cooking competition. Annie McGinnis entered two items, a spicy jalapeño creme cheese dip and sopapilla cheesecake. She won the Spicy division, and quite frankly should have one both! Last night we had a ooga booga session with High School, no explaining just had to had been there.

Over the past six months there has been a revival in our student ministry, just one of the results is the number of students at camp, but there are many more that can be seen. Last nights service was directed to the struggles that adult leaders face.  I was convicted be transparent in some of issues that I face a leader. I also wanted them to know that their faith has led to a revival in my spirit, more than they can ever know. I am so blessed by and excited to be around these students.

God is speaking, convicting, moving, motivating in our group here at camp, and not just with the students
